A small house for the parents of artist Radcliffe Bailey, located in a heavily wooded area of his SW Atlanta property.  The house is configured as a precinct – a courtyard surrounded on two sides with living spaces.  The empty courtyard is given weight, anchoring the building into the steep hillside, while the heavier masses are rendered weightless, hovering over a deep ravine.
